The Society For Homes was formed to engage Americans of all ages and backgrounds to help those who service to meet community needs. Each year, more than 1.5 million individuals of all ages and backgrounds help meet local needs through volunteering.
Many of these people are hard working low income who want more than anything to have a home they can call their own.
Right now in the United States there are many people who volunteer to make the community a better place to live. Its these people who give themselves their time and energy to others so they can live a better life.
They are our unsung heroes of the community, many of the services that the families help with deal with education, the environment after school programs to help children do better in school. They volunteer their time to tutor these children, believing that if you give a child and education the child will achieve success.
With many single parents families in the United States children are putting their energy’s into actives that will get them into trouble, that why many for the people we help are mentors. Our mentors give the trouble teens a person who they can talk to and admire.
Shelter from rain, wind and sun is a basic human need. With your help, more deserving families can have decent places to call home. Give families in need shelter, self-respect and the hope of a better life. Our ministry puts faith into action through empowerment and hard work.
